Thank you for registering with Rooms for Peace. Here you'll begin a
multi-stage process (see below) that will strongly validate you as a sincere and trustworthy person in our
network. This trust is obviously an important asset where our services are concerned, and
this process is designed to build as much initial trust as possible.
The stages of the registration process are as follows:
- Initial your agreement
(below) to our Terms of
Service and click Next. Agreement is necessary to
continue your registration.
- On the next page you'll select a username and password along with a
security question and answer that you can use to recover your login information
if you forget later on.
- Once your account is created, we'll send you two emails: one with
your password and another with a link to activate your account. Activation will validate your
email address. Note that we will not be sending your security question/answer via email,
so please record these as you see fit. Your security question and answer will allow you to recover
your password at a later time if needed.
- Once activated, you can log in to Rooms for Peace from the home page.
Doing so will provide you with a link to complete your user profile including your
mailing address.
- When you've completed your profile, you'll be asked to submit a $15
membership donation. Besides supporting Rooms for Peace directly, a small transaction like
this is a strong discouragement for those who would misuse this site.
- When your donation is confirmed, we'll send a final validation code
to your mailing address that you'll enter into your profile. Having a stable mailing address is
also an essential part of gaining others' trust.
- And when that code is confirmed, you'll be a fully validated member
of our site, which is our way of showing others that you've completed this important
trust-building process.
